  Penggunaan nama penuh dan nombor pendaftaran di bawah akta
Perubatan 1971 oleh Pengamal Perubatan Berdaftar di dalam urusan rasmi.

As of the 1st of January, 2009, all registered medical practitioners are to
use their full name and MMC registration number
(Perakuan Pendaftaran Penuh) in all official transactions and this includes
the name rubber stamp as well as name cards.

This is in view of the fact that the title DR is also being used by
non medical professionals in other fields.

The public will be able to verify the MMC registration of the
doctor by visiting the MMC website

at http://mmc.gov.my at the Medical Register section.
